Postal History of the 1941 "France Libre" Definitives Series - Stolow Covers
Stolow New York made a real mass production with these letters.

1941

I really wonder how much money is sometimes paid for these 5c/10c/15c covers!
And even the full set covers are numerous.
2014: Finaly collectors reecognised that these 5c/10c/15c Stolow covers are more or less junk - prices dropped down to about 5 bucks a cover.

Stolow Stamps
Henry and Julius Stolow (born Russians) were stamp dealers from 1920 to 1933 in Berlin. In 1936 they emigrated to Brussels and later to New York where they founded J. & H. Stolow, Wholesale Stamp Dealers. In 5th Avenue which existed until the 1970s. They were famous for having produced stamps of the non-existing "Maluku Selatan", Danish Greenland errors and other philatelic oddities.
