This is a cover which may deserve some discussion as I cannot recall what happened with it. Many 1925 stamps on a big cover with the
addressee E.C. Belmonte, wich can be found on a couple of philatelic covers. E.C. Belmonte came to Sydney in July 1918 from San Francisco.
In October 1918 he placed adds for stamp exchanging. In 1920 he was speaker of the Royal Packet Navigation Company. In 1922 he was with the
Royal Dutch Packet Co., in 1933 he was with K.P.M., Netherlands. So he had knowledge in ship business and was a stamp collector.
Nevertheless I wonder how he managed to get this cover registered in Vila (Goyns Klinger
registration cachet NR6) and cancelled in Sydney on 7 October 1926, one day after the Burns Phil S.S. MAKAMBO arrived in Sydney from Vila.
