Image collection of the 5c w/o CONDOMINIUM (YT 58A, SG 32a) I saw in the last 15 years including the forgeries

No.F24 forgery
2021 Boule MC sold for 352 Euro !!.
First prize:
I agree with Jeff: a 1920 surcharge on a stamp cancelled 19 NOV 10 surely earns the Gold Medal: The "5c" is not too bad: toe of the 5 too high and/or stop too low.
No.F14 forgery
No.F14 fake
Good too:
This project from the art lessons in an elementary school earns second prize I think.

August 2019: and again a 5C forgery but the seller offers it as such - will the buyer too?.
I'm showing here a small collection of images of the SG 58A 5c surcharged stamps without CONDOMINIUM which I found during the last 15 years in auctions and elsewhere.
Remember: you can click two or three stamps and move them together with the mouse to compare them.
The number of surcharged 50c of the 1908 issue is very unsure. There is some evidence that two sheets had been overprinted. That would be 300 stamps then as there were
6 x 25 stamps on a sheet. Some sources mention only one sheet overprinted.
With scarce old New Hebrides stamps like the 1d and 5d inverted overorints it is reasonable to assume that about 60% of all stamps still exist. So this page
here supports the idea of 150 stamps = 1 sheet overprinted.
It is rather difficult to get some order in this avalanche of images. Many images especially from the first years in the 2000s were tiny and blow-ups
are therefore blurred. Furthermore the stamps are rather difficult to tell apart. Main criterium would be the position of the "5c" relative to the "50" of the
stamp and the centering of the stamp. Some copies were "auction nomades": when the quality is not very good they didn't sell at one auction and showed up again
on other auctions, sometimes with different iamges. Colour differences are mostly due to poor scanner adjustments when sombody made the image.
On the 1920 postal history page there are twelve covers with this stamp.
Some properties of the 5c surcharge:
- the line from the lower neck of the 5
to the top of the "c" is horizontal.
- the line from the top of the 5's foot
to the top of the stop is horizontal too.
- the line of the middle of the stop over the
right top of the c cuts the chest of the
5 in the middle.
- the nearly vertical line along the face
of the 5 touches the toe of the foot.
I try to divide the stamps in six groups:
(A) - nothing of the "0" is visible in the "c"
(B) - a tiny bit of the "0" is visible within the "c"
(C) - more of the "0" is visible within the "c" and stamp is badly centered
(D) - more of the "0" is visible within the "c" and stamp is rather well centered
(E) - most of the "0" is visible in the "c"
(F) - cancelled stamps and stamps with selvedges.
Fakes are included without any comments: You may want to try to find them yourself. Some are easy: cancelled 1910 or an absolutely malformed "5c" but
some are very tricky and hard to find if not even unsure at all.
Top right stamp of the bottom pane (three made up a sheet) exist with the error "high stop". The following image shows this scarcity of which max. two can exist. (source unknown: it shows up in several internet archives).

(C) - more of the "0" is visible within the "c" and stamp is badly centered. Normally the SG 58A are rather acceptally centered.
But watch out: When the stamp is badly centered it can rather likely be a fake!

details (click!)
Even though this copy has a Pascal & Bernard Behr expertise from 2010, a
B Mendelsohn PARIS sign on the reverse and the second and last signature of Roger Calves used from about 1995 but it is nevertheless a forgery. You may compare the details here this stamp at top
and a genuine one at bottom: especially the front vertical line of the 5, which is far to steep on this stamp and the inner part of the round end at the bottom of the 5
and some other details.
